With the development of the Torrent wheels, Powerslide has applied two massive changes to the standard inline skate wheels. This wheel has been tested thoroughly through the off-season with impressive results.

Two key features are changed to bring you a perfect rain wheel

The PU formula used here contains additives and a post-production treatment that allows the Torrent wheels to grip onto any shred of surface it can find through the otherwise slippery surface.
The core is a type called DFT, which a very flexible core, which helps provide you with the added control you need when skating in the wet.

	Uk is so wet in winter & wanted more grip, this did the trick. The compound is a pu & metal powder mix by the look of it with slightly flatter bottom. Perfect for days when it is a bit damp and grip would normally be a bit sketchy.

	Got these to keep me going through this winter. I also live in Great Britain, so rain is regularly an issue. The difference between these and a generic dry-weather wheel is massive, though not absolute. They do very well on wet or even soaking ground, and are wearing slowly - good news for a skater on a budget or anyone put off by the comparatively higher price of these! However, on ice, moss, wet metal, etc - one will likely come unstuck. 'Wet skating' - which Torrent wheels enable - necessitates changing one's movements accordingly to try and maximise stability and thus safety (think shorter strides, shallower turns, and generally more upright). The bottom line is that if you don't want your flow to be grounded when it's wet; buy these wheels. I've learned to skate backwards this winter, and it was on these wheels that I did it. I owe my thanks to Powerslide, SkatePro, and all the scientists, engineers, and fellow skaters who made this fantastic innovation possible!

	These wheels are amazing on wet pavement! They will slip a little bit if you push them really hard, but normal skating is no problem. They also roll pretty well considering what they are and let me enjoy skating despite inclement weather!

	certainly feel more grippy than normal wheels but still had to be careful on some wet surfaces more than others (like wet wooden bridge, leaves, twigs, some super smooth pavements) haven't skated in wet weather with normal wheels so can't do a proper comparison...
